XR-200 - The
XR-200 is a 150kV, single package, pulsed X-ray source used by military, law enforcement, corporate security, and industrial personnel for radiographic examination of various items. The option of use with conventional
radiographic film, instant radiographic film, or digital inspection systems provides users with the flexibility to develop a complete radiographic
system best suited to their individual needs. The combination of battery power and minimal weight allows the user to obtain radiographs in even the most remote location.
To operate, attach a charged battery, set the number of pulses, and fire the unit. The user can view a high quality X-ray image immediately when using a video inspection system or within two minutes when using the Polaroid instant radiographic film system.
XR-5 -
The XR-5 is a digital X-ray camera system of high sensitivity and high resolution in small, light, and ruggedized construction.
The image converter screen is a high resolution X-ray converter foil converting X-ray radiation to visible light. The X-ray image is guided via a mirror and a lens to the CCD of a camera. This CCD-Camera contains a digital image memory, which is pixel
synchronous to the CCD. The camera can be exposed longer than the TV
standard (20ms). This way the weak image from the phosphor screen can be
accumulated on the CCD and displayed as a high quality X-ray image on a monitor. Due to its intelligent sensor the camera “behaves” like a film. As soon as there is X-ray radiation the camera starts to expose, stores the image automatically and displays it continuously. The stored image is available on the laptop (or other displays) for further processing or analyses.
Contrary to a classical X-ray image intensifier tube with a connected video camera this type of construction has only a slightly lower time resolution, but it is actually lighter, it needs no internal high voltage and it shows excellent performances with rugged applications.
